I got a chance to make up some objective markers for me pirates.
They need a bit of paint and some rules writing.
Once thought to have been wiped out by the Spanish, Carib Indians have once again been spotted in the Caribbean. Living secretly in deep jungles of isolated islands, these dangerous foes await the unwary landing party.
This is the first group of 5 minis that will harass the adventurers. More to follow along with stats!
The minis are Copplestone Castings’ Botocudo Indian warriors. I gave them a loincloth scrap of clothing from greenstuff and painted them up with Reaper paints.
Should make for an interesting encounter for careless pirate types. I’ll need to find a shaman mini…
Arrr! Here be a quick peek at my current sculpting projects.
First up be a commission from me son. Some scurvy wretch of a lubber called Toad or some such. He hails from the crew of Mario and Luigi. They be some sort o’ famous pirates I heard tales of but never yet met meself. Real gentlemen o’ fortune by the tales.
Second in the pix be a navy man. A hero type bloke from the royal marines that be rumored to be sailing fer these waters.
I’m kind of surprised how few of my minis I actually find time to paint. Especially the older models. Sooo… I’m going to try harder to actually get more painting done.
First to receive the brushwork, Black Bone (28029) joines my elite ranks of painted skeletal pirates. This was my first attempt at fire. I think he turned out alright.
Now I gotta go add the pix to the website…
